Previously, we have already shared with you advice on preparing the classic cheesecake, or as it is called throughout the world, “New York cheesecake.” Today we will present to your attention an interesting version of orange cheesecake. In fact, there won’t be anything complicated here, you just need to follow a few rules and take into account our advice, because we want to help you easily and simply prepare a dessert that you can please your family, guests, or treat yourself to your loved ones.

Let's first talk about the products that we use to create this culinary masterpiece - fragrant orange cheesecake. The list of products is quite simple: Philadelphia cheese or it can be replaced with regular cottage cheese (you just need to know a couple of secrets, we will write about them a little later), eggs, sour cream, sugar, starch, oranges, shortbread cookies, butter. Cooking time for cheesecake takes a maximum of 2 hours including baking.

The most important ingredient for making cheesecake is cheese. According to the rules, you need to use Philadelphia cheese here, it is very soft and tender and the cheesecake from it turns out to be simply airy. But, it is quite expensive, so you can use regular cottage cheese as an alternative, but it is important that it has a high fat content. The cottage cheese needs to be ground through a meat grinder or crushed with a blender. It is important that there are no grains of cottage cheese, otherwise the cheesecake will not be as soft as we would like. If, after you have ground the cottage cheese, there are grains left in it, grind it through a sieve.

When the cheese is ready to use, we beat the eggs separately. Tip: beat the whites with sugar until stiff, then the dessert will be incredibly light. Mix the cheese with protein foam and whipped yolks. Mix sour cream with starch and mix with curd and egg mixture. Now we make our orange cheesecake: scald the oranges with boiling water and grate the zest of two or three oranges on a fine grater and add them to the curd mixture. Grind the cookies into crumbs using a blender and mix with melted butter.

We have all the components of cheesecake ready. Now you can collect it and put it in the oven. Place the liver and butter tightly on a baking sheet, pour the curd mixture on top and place in a cold oven for an hour and a half. It is important that the temperature in the oven is not very high, otherwise the cheesecake will form a bulge in the middle, but if you bake it at a low temperature, it will turn out smooth and beautiful. Readiness fr-11" data-num="11">cheesecake is very easy to check, if you see a crack, you can take it out, even if the middle still moves a little, it will come through. It is very important not to overcook the cheesecake in the oven, otherwise it will not be as tender and light in taste.
