You need to make sure that the pepper is not damaged and its surface is smooth, because such signs indicate that it is fresh and very juicy inside.But there is one little secret, so that the pepper does not become bitter, pour boiling water over it before use and hold for a few minutes. Then drain the water, dry the pepper and cut it in half to get rid of the seeds. Peel the onion and cut into four parts.

And now we return to the meat. Place a frying pan on the stove and heat it up. Place the marinated meat tightly on a very hot surface and cook it over high heat for 3-5 minutes on each side. With such frying, an appetizing crust forms on each piece of meat, and inside it contains all the aroma and its own juice. To prepare such a dish, it is better to take a cast iron or ceramic pot. In such dishes the taste of the dish will be simply amazing. We put just a little butter on the bottom of the pot, then put the meat piece by piece, and chopped onion on it, add bell pepper and another layer of meat, and then everything in turn. After you have laid everything out, add some warm water and cover the top with parchment paper to better maintain the temperature.Place the pot in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and cook for an hour and a half. When the cooking time is up, turn off the oven and take out the pot, but do not open the lid, but leave it for a few minutes so that the dish steeps and all the flavors combine.
