Thabo (pork in coconut milk)
Bored my husband on a vacation, on the warm Sands of Thailand... And since so much of the warm sand right now to get it extremely problematic and the holidays are still far away, I decided to think of something tasty and simple dishes of those places. So I decided to cook a dish of "Thabo", named after the Thai province. But, of course, adapted to my fridge. By the way, please do not judge strictly, this is my debut.

Ingredients

  • Pork

  • Pepper

  • Flour

    1.5 tsp

  • Soy sauce

    2.5 tbsp

  • Coconut milk

    100 ml

  • Salt

  • Spices

  • Vegetable oil

To start prepare all the necessary products. Garlic cut in half, chili pepper cut into rings.

Bell pepper cut into half rings (the original used some of their sweet, long, green peppers. It is more fragrant than the Bulgarian, and, of course, delicious. But such miracles in our stores, alas, not found. Therefore, almost comradely, I came to the aid of their Bulgarian counterpart. Medium-sized onion cut into half rings.

Then the meat is. In the city of Thaba almost 80% of the population are Muslims. Therefore, meat is appropriate. But my fridge is far from the intricacies of religions and no chicken or Turkey in the fridge was not found. So I use pork. The meat I washed, dried and sliced medium-sized plates. Well, I begin.

In a frying pan type wok generously pour oil (vegetable or olive, not essential), good heat and throw in the garlic and chilli. Fry for about a minute. We need the above ingredients gave the whole oil your taste. It's been a minute, take out from the pan the garlic and chilli and say goodbye to them, the more we don't need them.

Next, put the meat and fry it until then, until it becomes white from all sides. And, by the way, salt it to taste. The meat is white, add onion. At this stage is getting quite a lot of liquid, we add the soy sauce and evaporate almost all the liquid. If you have no fluid – then just add soy sauce and stir fry meat with onions for a few minutes.

Then add bell pepper. Fry 2 – 3 minutes. Add seasonings to taste. In the original recipe - curry, but I don't really, so I have nutmeg and hops-suneli. Carefully mix everything.

Finally came the moment when a dish is indigenously Thai. Add in our pan 100 ml of coconut milk on medium heat, stirring frequently, continue to fry for 3 minutes. Taste for salt and if needed add more.

Reduce the heat, add the flour, stir, cover and wait for another 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir again. Cover with a lid and give to infuse for another 15 minutes. That's all!

As a garnish can be anything. Today, for myself, I made the arugula salad, sprouted wheat seed and cucumber, and for her husband's simple spaghetti.
